ItsSo Sun-Kissed
on our Mediterranean Holidays

Relaxed pace, stunning scenery & unforgettable flavours

Sunshine, sea breezes, lazy lunches, and a glass of something cold in hand — the Mediterranean really gets holidaying. Whether you're after a quick beach break, a luxury escape, or a laid-back island hop, this region is full of charm, colour, and coastal beauty.

From the whitewashed villages of Greece to the glamorous shores of the Côte d'Azur, the rolling vineyards of Tuscany to the golden beaches of Spain and the secret coves of Croatia — a holiday to the Med offers something for everyone.

Why the Med is Always a Good Idea..

One of the best things about a Mediterranean holiday is the lifestyle — think long, leisurely meals, sea views at every turn, and a culture that knows how to relax. The food and wine are legendary: fresh seafood, sizzling tapas, woodfired pizzas and sun-ripened fruit — every destination has its own delicious twist on dining out. And let’s not forget the beaches — from the iconic stretches of Mykonos and Ibiza to the tucked-away bays in Turkey or the pine-fringed shores of Croatia, the Med knows how to do coastlines properly.

Beyond the sun and sand, the Mediterranean is packed with culture. Wander through ancient ruins, explore cobbled old towns, browse buzzing markets, or stumble into a local festival that makes you feel like a part of the community. And perhaps most importantly — life just moves at a gentler pace here. Siestas are respected, sunsets are savoured, and everything is designed to help you slow down and soak it all in.

Where to go for sun, sea and culture

With so many countries hugging the Med’s sparkling coastline, it’s all about choosing the one that fits your vibe. Greece is always a winner, with its postcard-perfect islands like Santorini, Crete, Corfu and Kefalonia. Spain brings the sunshine with its mainland Costas and island favourites like Mallorca, Menorca and Ibiza — great for families, couples or groups of friends.

Italy blends coastal beauty with food, fashion and history. You’ve got the Amalfi Coast for glamour, Sardinia for beaches, and Sicily for a perfect mix of culture and cuisine. France’s Côte d’Azur is the place for seaside chic, while Turkey offers incredible value, ancient ruins, and warm hospitality. And then there’s Croatia — a rising star with its stunning Adriatic coastline, charming old towns, and some of the best island-hopping this side of the Aegean.

When to travel for sunshine, swimming & sightseeing

The Mediterranean is at its sunniest between May and October, when the weather’s warm, the sea is inviting, and outdoor life is in full swing. July and August are the hottest (and busiest) months — perfect for pure beach days. But if you prefer a quieter pace, May, June and September are fantastic times to go. You’ll still get plenty of sunshine, but with fewer crowds and cooler temperatures — ideal for sightseeing or exploring inland villages.

Make the most of your Med getaway

One of the joys of the Med is how easy it is to explore more than one place in a single trip. Fancy combining Rome with the Amalfi Coast? Or maybe starting with a city break in Barcelona before heading to the beach? Island-hopping in Greece or Croatia is a classic too. With the right itinerary, a Mediterranean holiday can feel like three holidays in one — and it’s often better value than you’d expect.
